Footwear are items that are equipped in the "Feet" slot. The player can only equip one footwear at a time; picking up new footwear drops their current one.

Footwear Effects
  • Missing a beat will not reset the Groove Chain multiplier.
  • Amplified dlc The multiplier will max out after killing one enemy, instead of five.
     
  • The player becomes immune to all traps and floor hazards.
  • Amplified dlc The player will not be charged when standing over conduits.
  • The player becomes immune to the following floor hazards:
    • Water
    • Tar
    • Hot coals
    • Ooze
  • The player becomes immune to the following floor hazards:
    • Ice
    • Ooze
  • The player does not take damage from spike traps.
  • The player gains the Heavy attribute.
  • Provides 0.5 armor rating, reducing damage intake by 0.5 Hearts on each hit.
  • Increases attack damage by 1.
  • Deals 3 Normal damage to an enemy or object upon moving directly towards it.
  • Deals 1.5 HeartHeart half hearts of damage to the player upon picking up (this damage ignores armor rating and cannot be prevented).
  • Allows the player to jump over 1 tile every time they move.
    • Can be Toggled on/off by pressing Up + Down.
  • The player becomes immune to the following floor hazards:
    • Water
    • Tar
  • Allows the player to jump over up to 3 tiles every time they move if able.
    • Can be Toggled on/off by pressing Up + Down.
  • Upon jumping into a monster or object, the boots deliver a lunging attack.
    • This attack deals 4 Normal damage and knocks the target back 1 tile.
  • The player may act twice per beat.
    • To do so, an input is entered in the middle of two beats.

Note: This item does not appear in any item pool so it cannot be acquired by playing normally. It can still be accessed by using the level editor.

  • The player becomes immune to the following floor hazards:
    • Water
    • Tar
    • Hot coals
    • Ice
    • Ooze
  • Breaks if the player takes damage.
